Today I bring a super easy and quick recipe: a hot chocolate perfect to have on a cold or rainy day, while you watch a movie wrapped in a blanket.
It really tastes like chocolate, with just a small amount of sugar, nothing to do with the ones you can have in most of the places.
Ingredients (2 servings):
400 ml of milk of your choice
50 g of dark chocolate, chopped (1.8 oz.)
2 tablespoons of pure cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Foam:
100 ml of milk
1 teaspoon of pure cocoa powder
Put milk in a pot and heat it (you can add a cinnamon stick or other spices).
When it starts boiling, add the cocoa and the sugar and stir with a whisk.
Once the cocoa and the sugar is dissolved, add the chopped chocolate and stir until it melts.
Prepare the foam, mix the milk and the cocoa and stir with a milk frother.
Serve the hot chocolate with the foam on the top. Feel free to add some marshmallows or melted chocolate.
