FALL COOKIES TUTORIAL

Well, after Halloween we go on with fall theme.



For today I’ve got this tutorial of colored cookies, very easy and the result is fantastic.



Ingredients:
140 g butter at room temperature (5 oz.)
120 g sugar (4.2 oz.)
1 egg M
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
280 g flour (9.8 oz.)
A pinch of salt

You’ll also need:
Gel/paste food colorings (yellow, brown, red, orange and green)
Fall cookie cutters
Rolling pin

Sift the flour and the salt and reserve.
Beat the butter with the sugar until it’s creamy.
Add the egg and the vanilla and mix.
Finally add the flour.

Divide the dough in five parts.
Dye each part in one color.




Refrigerate during 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven at 180ºC (356ºF).

Make small pieces of the dough and place them as shown in the image.




Extend the dough with the rolling pin.




Cut the dough with the cutters.




Put the cookies on the baking tray.


You can separate again the remaining dough and repeat the previous process.

Bake for 10-15 minutes.

Let the cool down on a rack.
