OREO CAKE POPS

Today I’m going to explain to you how to make cake pops and some advices that I’ve discovered after lots of cake pops’ suicides.

We’ll need just a few ingredients: cake/cookies that we’ll destroy, buttercream or any other cream and chocolate or candy melts for the covering. Plus you can use any toppings you like.

We’ll also need sticks, somewhere to place them and patience!

I made these with oreo and Philadelphia of milka, you can also use regular one.

1. Grind the cake/cookies and add cream

This step is very important, because if you add too much cream the balls will inevitably slide and if it’s not enough they will break.

So we add the cream little by little, until you can form a ball without cracking.

2. Put the balls in the fridge for 2 hours.

3. Melt the chocolate, dip the stick into the chocolate and stick it.

You have to stick it exactly in the center, so they won’t twist and in the middle, because if you stick it too deep it can break or slip and if it is not deep enough it will fall.

Quickly put them in the freezer and leave them for 10 minutes.

4. Take them out from the freezer, not all at the same time, because they would get warm, and dip them into the melted chocolate until cover them.

5. Add the sprinkles before it gets cold and put them again in the freezer.

6. Once they are completely cold change them to the fridge.

Don’t take them from the freezer to room temperature, because they would start sweating.

7. Eat them all before anyone sees them!
