TIGER SPONGE CAKE

Today I want to show you how to do this easy way to make a tiger printed sponge cake.

Ingredients (23 cm (9 inches) diameter mold):
3 eggs
1 natural yoghourt (115 g)
2 yoghourt recipients of sugar
2 yoghourt recipients of flour + 3 tablespoons
16 g of baking powder
1 yoghourt recipient of vegetable oil
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Colorants (gel/paste): orange, black and white

Preheat the oven at 180ºC (356ºF).
Mix the flour and the baking powder, shift and reserve.
Beat the eggs with the sugar until it gets foamy.
Add the vanilla
Add half of the dry ingredients and mix.
Add the yoghourt.
Add the rest of the dry ingredients, and finally, the oil.
Beat until the blend is homogeneous.
Divide the blend into 2/4, 1/4 and 1/4.
Add to the 2/4 part 2 tablespoons of flour and orange colorant; to the 1/4 part 1 tablespoon of flour and white colorant and to the other 1/4 the cocoa powder and black colorant.





Grease the mold.
Put 2 tablespoons of orange blend, 1 of black blend and 1 of white blend; repeat with the rest (as shown in the picture).



Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a tooth stick comes out clean.

Remember not to open the oven before time, so it rises correctly.
