ROSES APPLE PIE

Today I bring you this beautiful apple pie.

It’s very easy, but to be honest it takes a little while.

Anyway, I hope you try it!

Finally I wanted to remind you that you can follow me on Facebook and Instagram to be up to date.

Ingredients:
1 and a half red apple
The juice of half of a lemon
2 sheets of pastry puff
Jam of your choice (I used apricot jam)
50 ml of water + 1 teaspoon of brown sugar

Clean the apple, cut it as thin as you can and add the lemon juice.

Immerse the apple in boiling water for 3 minutes.
Drain the apple and let it cool down.
Preheat the oven at 200ºC (392ºF).

Now, follow the instructions on the picture:

1. Cut the pastry puff into strips of 4 cm (1.6 in) of weight and the length you want.
2. Place the apple.
3. Put a bit of jam (don’t put too much, it would overflow)
4. Add a little bit of cinnamon.
5. Fold the pastry puff.
6. Start rolling the strip.
7. Roll the whole strip and seal the end.
8. Put the apple properly.
9. Place the “roses” in a mold.
10. Pour the water with sugar over the “roses”

Bake for 25 minutes.
