MOZZARELA AND PESTO PALMIERS

This mozzarella and pesto palmiers are a quick and easy solution for a starter.

 

They’re a great option for Christmas events.


And you can fill them with anything else if you like to.


They’re delicious!

Ingredients:

1 sheet of puff pastry
2 tablespoons of pesto
6 slices of mozzarella cut into strips
1 beaten egg

Preheat the oven at 200ºC (392ºF).

Spread the pesto and place the strips of mozzarella.


Roll up as shown in the picture.



Cut the palmiers, 1.5 cm (0.6 in).
Brush the palmiers with the beaten egg.


Bake for 20 minutes.

Serve warm or cold.
