CHOCOLATE AND TOFFEE COOKIES

After all summer going from one place to another, I’m home…because all good things come to an end.
But now I’ll have more time to try some new recipes.

I prepared these cookies for the trip to Brussels with my cousin and they were gone so quickly.

I hope you like them too!

Ingredients:
120 g butter (4.2 oz.)
100 g brown sugar (3.5 oz.)
100 g white sugar (3.5 oz.)
1 egg L
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
220 g flour (7,8 oz.)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
A pinch of salt
100 g dark or milk chocolate chips (3.5 oz.)
100 g toffee chips (3.5 oz.)

Mix the flour, the salt and the baking powder.

Beat the butter with both types of sugar, and when it’s creamy add the egg and vanilla extract and beat again.

Add the dry ingredients.

Finally add the chips and mix.

Preheat the oven at 180ºC (356ºF).

Put portions of the same size, on a baking paper, and 1 cm o thickness.

Bake them for 15 minutes, take them of and let it cool on a racket.

Finally, I wanted to tell you that I’m preparing a guide with Belgian typical dishes, and of course, chocolate!
