CHOCOLATE AND PUFFED RICE NOUGAT (gluten free)

Just in case you don’t know, in Spain nougat is very typical in Christmas, there is nougat in every house and many types of it.


The recipe I have for today is really quick, is made of chocolate and puffed rice, but changing the type of chocolate or the rice you can make lots of different recipes.

Right now, I’m with my final exams and I don’ have time.

But look what I have waiting for you:


Ingredients (for 1 small nougat):
140 g of chocolate (I used black) (5 oz.)
20 g of 
good quality cocoa butter  (0.7 oz.)
20 g of puffed rice (I used 10 g of natural and 10 g with chocolate) (0.7 oz.)
Put the chocolate with the lard and melt it until it get smooth.


Add the rice and mix.
Put it in the mold and hit it gently so bubbles don’t appear.




Put it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Take it out form de mold and enjoy this homemade nougat!
