APPLE FRITTERS (gluten free option)

Last summer I went to Germany and had this dessert a few times.



I had already tried it, but ever since sometimes I feel the need of eating them, but I hadn’t prepared them until now.



The recipe is really easy, but delicious.


Ingredients:

100 g of all porpoise flour (3.5 oz.) (you can use gluten free flour)
2 eggs
150 ml of milk
A pinch of salt

4 small apples, peeled and cored
Juice from half lemon juice

Oil for frying (I used sunflower oil)

Sugar and cinnamon

Mix the flour, the egg, the milk and the salt and reserve the batter.
Cut the apples in slices of 1 cm (0,4 in.) of thickness.
Heat the oil in a deep pan.
Dip the apple slices in the batter and fry them.
Take them out and place them on absorbent paper.
Cover in sugar and cinnamon (you can just dust icing sugar, if you prefer to).

Serve your apple fritters warm and feel free to serve it along with vanilla sauce or ice-cream.
